Joy Smith Gallery

Joy-Smiths’ exhibit from November of 2011 was comprised by a photography co-
operative from students at the university of Memphis. The works ranged from bright
and colorful depictions of Mardi Gras parades utilizing unexpected participants, a
photorealistic depiction of an artists grandparents as they ambled through their daily
chores, grocery shopping, haircuts, etc., and abstract images of fruit sea creatures, etc
described with whimsical Latin terminology.
